Free, confidential student counseling services are available to currently registered students. The Student Counseling Center provides a confidential, supportive environment where students may discuss personal and academic concerns and work toward making positive changes in thoughts, feelings, behaviors and relationships. Services include mental health assessments, brief counseling, referrals to Iowa Central and community resources, consultations for concerned persons, including faculty and staff, psycho-educational programming/information, and more.
During the fall and spring semesters when classes are scheduled, the Student Counseling Center is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

URGENT SITUATIONS may be referred, during office hours, to Amber Graves RN, campus nurse, at 574-1047, or Tom Beneke, VP of Enrollment Management and Student Development at 574-1050.
