FORT DODGE - The Iowa Central nursing program will host its annual pinning ceremony on Tuesday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m. in Decker Auditorium. The ceremony will recognize the students who graduated from either the Registered Nursing (RN) or Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) programs this year.
“This is a great time to recognize all of our students who have completed the programs, this is a big day for them,” said Trina Stanton, Dean of Health Services at Iowa Central. “This year we also let the students design the program for the first time, so they are excited about that.”
A total of 162 students graduated from one of the two programs this year and 82 will return to participate in the ceremony. In the RN program, 92 students will receive their Associate Degree in Nursing. Seventy students will receive their Licensed Practical Nursing degree.
A small reception will be held in the Hodges Fieldhouse foyer following the ceremony.
