FORT DODGE - The students in Iowa Central’s Dental Hygiene Program all passed their National Board Dental Hygiene Examinations this spring. The nine senior students took and passed the exams over spring break, making them eligible to receive their licenses.
“This is great for our program,” said Renee Piper, Iowa Central’s coordinator of Dental Hygiene. “Our program tallies the results of the testing and it is used in comparison of all dental hygiene schools in the nation for accreditation and recruiting students.”
Iowa Central has a sterling reputation with the exams as the program boasts a 99 percent pass rate on the exams to date.
