Former Iowa Central students Billy Cho and Bobby Tso will be featured in nationally competitive art shows at the National Conference for Education in the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) next month in Houston, Texas.
Tso has just completed the work for the Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Iowa and Cho is currently working at The Produce Station Pottery in Webster City. Billy has been accepted into the graduate program at Iowa starting in the fall. He also has offers from other universities and will be deciding soon where he will enter grad school.
Heather Schweikhardt, another former Iowa Central art student, is also in Houston and will be involved with the conference. She is a former curator at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts and is now curator at Rice University.
