How To Submit Results

Fellow NJCAA Division I Cross Country Coaches –

I am writing to inform you that I will be conducting the Hill ‘N’ Dale Cross Country Rankings again this season. The Hill ‘N’ Dale website is the official site for the NJCAA Division I Cross Country rankings and statistics. You do not need to report your cross country statistics on the NJCAA website.  At this time I would like to inform you of the ranking process and seek out volunteers that can commit the necessary time each week to consistently rank both men’s and women’s teams for me. It is not helpful if you choose to rank the teams one week and then not the next week. It is certainly a thankless job that requires a significant time commitment. If you would like to be a Hill ‘N’ Dale rater, please contact me ASAP.

The Process
To ensure inclusion, meet results must be submitted to me via e-mail by 10 a.m. CST each Monday morning. Faxed results will not be included in the weekly release or considered for voting. You may e-mail me your results in the format on the attached sheet or you may send me an internet link to where I can find complete meet results. If you do just send me a link, please refer to the attached document and include the remaining necessary information.

After the weekly results are compiled, they will be posted to our website no later than Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.  I will contact all of our raters via email with the weekly release so that they may rank the top 20 men’s and top 20 women’s teams.

I will accept rankings from all of our raters until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. The weekly Hill ‘N’ Dale rankings will be posted on this website each Wednesday morning. The first set of rankings will be published on Wednesday, September 2nd. Our last ranking will be published Wednesday, November 4th prior to the NJCAA Championships.

I will continue to post a women’s 5k and men’s 8k performance list on the website. If time permits, I will also post a women’s 6k performance list. Understand that it is only as accurate as the course you run, but it is fun for the athletes, families and fans to look up familiar names. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
